Watch Office
In partnership with the Royal Air Force Museum, English Heritage and the London Borough of Barnet, St George has managed and funded the relocation and refurbishment of the redundant Claude Grahame- White watch office, now located adjacent to the preserved factory at the Royal Air Force Museum.
The Claude Grahame- White watch office has been relocated brick by brick and pieced back together using as many original materials as possible in order to maintain the 1911 characteristics, including internal finishes such as the staircases and fittings.
The historic building which was once the central part of the former Claude Grahame-White aircraft factory in Hendon. has been rejoined to the Grahame-White factory here at the Royal Air Force Museum and is set to become an important learning pioneer and the history of the local area, for the benefit of the nation.
